It might be worth contacting avaaz.org under the banner of 'Media Freedom' perhaps.
They carried out a good campaign against Rupert Murdoch.

This may be of interest to some LugMasters and LUG members.

Andrew Baxter sent a message using the contact form at http://lug.org.uk/contact. Hello, I found out recently about Microsoft's attempts to persuade hardware
manufacturers to introduce code-signing at a BIOS level, in a way which may
make it harder for people to run OSes not approved by MS on PCs and other
devices. See: http://fsfe.org/campaigns/generalpurposecomputing/secure-boot-analysis.en.html and http://www.softwarefreedom.org/blog/2012/jan/12/microsoft-confirms-UEFI-fears-locks-down-ARM/ I contacted the FSF europe ( http://fsfe.org ) to ask them if they are
running a campaign on this issue, and they emailed me back, asking if I
wanted to help organising a UK campaign by drafting a letter to MPs. I've
thought about this, and I don't think I have the time and energy to spare in
my life at the moment to take it on, but I thought it would be worth emailing
you to ask if you know of anyone campaigning in the UK on this issue, or if
you could contact the individual LUGs letting them know what is happening.
You could give them the contact email of Matthias Kirschner, who is the
person in the fsfe to talk to ( mk at fsfe.org ). If you are able to do this, could you also include my email, as I would like
to be kept informed and may have the time later to get something going on a
local level (e.g. a brief talk at the LUG, or a meeting with the MP). thanks, andrew baxter, lancaster lug.
