[Bradford] Squeezebox install

Didn't you say you had got isqueeze server working with Android Winamp David?
I couldn't see how to do it.

Despite having installed the various Squeezebox stuff my cheap tablet, as I mentioned in the talk doesn't work with the China tablet so I have to use BubbleUpnp. I now use Google Listen for podcasts. It downloads directly to the tablet. Not what I wanted exactly but it does work very well at auto downloading podcasts and putting them into a single list.

It isn't so well known but I have discovered that you can manage Google 'Listen' podcast subscriptions via Podcasts by logging into Google and going to  reader.google.com. I'll put a list of podcasts in a separate email for those who may be interested.

Server
======
1) Download from logitech and register
2) install deb package on linux server with all the music
3) http://<sever>:9000/
4) Root around until you find option to reindex media library

Client (PC)
======
1) Download SoftSqueeze
2) Extract
3) java -jav SoftSqueeze.jar
4) Enter server address and OK
5) Now browser and play to your hearts content

Client (iPhone)
===============
1) Go to iTunes
2) Install Logitech SqueezeBox Remote
3) Launch and sign in with mysqueezebox.com details
4) Annoy the hell out of the other person who is already listening to
the radio (lol)

Client (Android)
================
1) Go to Google Play (yuck at the new name!)
2) Download and Install Logitech Squeezebox Controller
3) Wince at how big it is and rapidly move it to SD
4) Launch and attempt to login
5) annoy the crap out of the iphone user that pissed you off earlier
