Well, in my experience of LUGs the presentations and discussion tend
to cover open source in general and not be restricted to purely Linux
topics. However, Linux is the post child and probably were most people
gained an introduction to open source...

In fact, I seem to spend most of my time at LUGs chatting with people
about PDP-11s, GSM and Arduino.
