Hi Brian,

Got it running now in the android emulator[1]. It does exactly as you
stated and I do enjoy the claret background for the title banner. Nice
to use a city colour. ;-)

Do you intend to do further android work and maybe extend the app?

[1] To run in emulator, the device needs a device target of the 'Google
APIs'. If not you will get a failure to install due to a missing shared
library.

Hi Phil,
Well I am trying to increase my skills in html5/CSS3 by following tutorials on YouTube. There are 50+ tutorials in the series and I am about half way though them. After that I might take a look at PhoneGap and see where that takes me. What I have learned so far is that html5 will result in different behaviour depending on the browser. I have been using Chrome and Opera. Chrome seems to work with most things as does Opera but sometimes the behaviour is not quite the same. Firefox requires slightly different CSS in that 'webkit' needs to be replaced by 'moz' - or so I am given to understand. So I've not used Firefox for this.
I do have the Google SDK on my computer but I've mostly used part of it to access and control my rooted HTC Desire via adb.
So that's the story - not yet competent to progress any further.
