Frankly, we ran out of time to fit in the other stuff.

On the subject of spamming, I intend to do some deadly serious shit
stirring about the Free City Wifi for the next one.  Get a load of
this:

"You can continue to use the Service for free as long as you accept
our Terms and you remain "opted in" to receive marketing materials
from us and carefully selected third parties under the terms of our
Privacy Policy. If you use your right to opt out of electronic
communications from us at any time then we won't allow you to access
to the Service unless you opt back in again."

And there's plenty more to get angry about (e.g., where's the privacy
policy to which they refer on that page).  Exactly how much is the
taxpayer subsidising this dubious commercial venture?  Does the
Council even know about those Ts & Cs, considering that this shady
bunch are subcontractors of Virgin's?

And we haven't even started looking at security yet -- note that the
landing page, which doubles as a registration form, is not https.
