Hi,

I can give a walk through of a project I've been working on recently which
uses vagrant and chef-solo to build reproducable and portable development
environments for hadoop. The tools I'm using for this are equally suited
to building any development environment though, including Windows ones.

I don't know if anybody's been following news from the Redhat summit this
week, but there's some exciting new features expected in RHEL 7 and if I
find the time I'll try and put together a brief summary.

Regards
Alice

PS. We're currently hiring devops engineers and java/scala developers, come
talk to me at the LUG if you're interested.
