Hi all

Been having some trouble with ps2pdf - the script that converts
postscript files to PDF. Anyway, thanks to David's explanations, I found
that ps2pdf calls another script which calls ghostscript.

Turns out that someone had changed the defaults to US letter size (there
is a warning about people doing things like this in the ghostscript
documentation). So you have to put the European a4 option in the
intermediary script to get it to convert a4 postscript files to a4 PDFs.
