The purpose of Manchester Free Software is to promote the Free Software
philosophy.
This meeting will be a series of discussions on the Free Software
implications on the following:
* Munich switch complete
Following on from Bob Ham's "Free Software advances around the world"
talk is the news that Munich has completed its migration from a
Microsoft Windows based infrastructure to a GNU/Linux one.

A new magazine has been launched by using "crowd sourcing" and has
interesting aspects. What affect will it have on Free Software?

The FSF's Appeal 2013 ends on 31st January and the work of the FSF is
needed now more than ever.

The meeting will take place at the usual venue of Madlab, details above.
The venue provides wifi.
Parking
-------
Around the venue there are parking meter bays that become zero
cost after 8pm on Tuesday so you will have to pay up until then and the
maximum stay is 2 hours BUT MAKE SURE YOU VERIFY ALL THIS on parking.
There are paid parking lots around the venue, they are marked by a blue
P in this OpenStreetMap centred on Madlab
