[Bradford] What is on Topic in BradLUG

Hi

Though BradLUG is a GNU/Linux Users group we do not limit our conversations to GNU/Linux only in meetings or in this list (historically or as stated on our website).

To quote our homepage (http://www.bradlug.co.uk):

"Welcome to the Bradford GNU/Linux site; we are a self-help group for GNU/Linux, Open Source and Free Software users in and around the Bradford District, West Yorkshire"

To quote our about page (http://www.bradlug.co.uk/about/)

"We have regular social meetings and more formal meetings where we might talk about something technical, or help people with their computing problems, or discuss and debate issues around technology in society”.

A personal comment:
It helps to be clear and polite, it can be hard to interpret true meaning/intention some comments and sometimes humour or innocent comments can be construed as insult.
