Hi Folks,

I've just taken on some server reseller space for a project. As part of
the "welcome" package from the host I've received this. Would somebody
please translate it?

I think the first bit is pretty straightforward. ns5 and ns6 are the
host's nameservers and are active by default, just leave them as is if
that's my choice. Am I correct?

I have my own nameservers (rented). The second set, ns1 ==> and ns2 ==>
has got me stumped. I want to use a subdomain as the hostname and am not
sure this can be done in its own zone, hence whether it's possible at
all with this setup?

A side note, if anybody needs a DNS zone for testing or personal use I
can offer a free subdomain with a zone which will resolve to your own
domain. Just shout. My email address should be viewable with this mail.

TIA,

Mike
