Hi everyone,

This will just affect our mailing list, chesterlug.org.uk will still be
accessible as that is hosted elsewhere.  On the topic of our website, I have
been working on a new version of the site that I (and anyone else who would
like to contribute to) will find very easy to update.  My hope is that it
will bring a much more dynamic site instead of the static site I haven't had
the time to maintain.

My father is very ill right now, so I'll have to put it on hold.  But when
things are a bit more back to normal I'll get the new site up there.

Hi,

Please could you pass the following on to your groups:

On Saturday 19th May we are planning to swap our unreliable server
for a brand new one that we have been preparing for some time.

There is quite a lot of data spread over several virtual machines so
we are going to give ourselves from mid day on Saturday through
until midnight on Monday, though we hope everything will be back up
and running much much sooner.

The machine will stay in the same facility, IP addresses will not
change, ssh keys will not change, all user data will be preserved
and no email will be lost.
