[Chester LUG] Getting files off a sata hard drive

Thanks George. Although we got the info off the web, and thought we had
jumpers right, we tried most jumper options. All the BIOS slots were
set to auto. We even disconnected the IDE disc to see if this was
inhibiting looking any further. I'll look into SATA and SATA-II, but
thought we had that covered. The disc was certainly getting warm, but I
did not try listening specifically to it.

The Windose slave said he could see all the users on the disc, so I
presume it is working at least somewhat. I expect to pay for a fix, but
I don't really want to go back to him and admit Linux did not come to
the rescue.
