[Chester LUG] Any independant PHP/MySQL programmers out there ?
Hi Everyone,
I have a spec for what is essentially an php file upload/file management
app. Having just had another project completed by an indian company who
whose code was so bad it made me cringe (they had no idea how to work out
compound interest other than manually year after year)
I would have used them again but I have little confidence in them to be
able to do this project and trying to make them understand basic things is
v hard, so I want our new development back into the uk, but I was
wondering if anyone knew of anyone that can do such a project. Budget is
small, around £1000 but then again what we want is basically a file upload
application with a bit of security.
Having been biten by the fast, cheap, good - choose two scenario, im just
wondering if anyone knows of any. May even be an ideal student project, as
long as they can code well, I am happy to discuss it with everyone. Could
even be a good basis to start a file management in a box type system that
you can sell for a few thousand a box!
