[Chester LUG] Want to be eco friendly?

Nice looking machine, but it feels Oh-so-Microsoft in it's methods.  Before you all shout me down, think about it.

They tell you the OS your machine uses, that they will manage all security and upgrades and they will look after your PC for you.  They tell you that you can store your files securely with them online.

Anyone else a little uncomfortable about giving a firm that much control?

I look for a PC now, I want hardware.  Nothing else.  I install and manage my own machines.  I'm sure you're all the same.

The green angle is good, but what about the power needed for the monitor?  How does that machine compare both in green and ability to any of the low cost mini laptops like the eeePC 4G?

I like green, but I prefer performance, and at 400Mhz for a machine with 3 cores???  What are they - Aldi CPU?

Sorry.  Not convinced with this one, Les.
