Ah they're just office blocks really. There is a big rebranding going on to 
make everyone call it the Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus and quietly 
retire the Daresbury Laboratories name. The labs remain but the amount of 
science being done here is declining, and when they switch off the 
synchrotron in August there will be no large scientific facilities left here. 
Many suspect that that will sound the death knell for the lab.

However, the campus will continue on! Northwest Development Agency wants 
10_000 people working onsite by 2010, shame that none of them will be the 
current staff or even scientists.

Must stop ranting, I could go on about this for hours!
