[Chester LUG] Meet

Hi all,

A reminder that our next social meet is scheduled for this Thursday at the
Old King's Head from 7pm.

This month I've been investigating alternative venues where we could meet in
private rooms.  Basically so we can get our laptops out and not worry about
being sat in the middle of a pub!  The idea is to try and combine the
socials with a more technical meet, so we can demo things we may have found
or help each other with any problems.

I've found the ideal move as it's only down the road in the Bear and Billet
(about 100 yards from the normal pub).  They have a room we can use, but
unfortunately it's not available this Thursday otherwise I'd have booked
it.  It seems that Thursdays are a regular booking so I'd like to get all
your opinions on the following:

1. Would you be happy if we moved the regular meet to another weekday
night?

2. What if it was always on the last week of the month but changed days?  Or
would you prefer it to stick to the same day every month.

3. Would you prefer we stay with a single monthly meet combining the two in
the new venue (basically pints and technology :-) ), or we continue with the
monthly social and then hold the odd technical meet as we like.
