Recently my child's primary school forked out on some MS office
licences (2003). When asked about Open office they said their LEA
contact in Cheshire advised against it!

Not industry standard software - Like MS word is not going to change
by the time my 8yr old has finished education!

An advice on resources to counter this or people to talk to (Cheshire
LEA)
