It runs Maemo <http://maemo.org> which is basically Debian. Nokia have put
Maemo on their Internet tablets for a while but this is the first phone. You
get root access and you can even install stuff with apt-get if you want.
I've added a few custom repos. It's pretty cool. Completely unlocked, even
the ones on contract from Vodafone are unlocked. It'll run any Python GTK or
Qt apps. I installed Vim and QEmacs in the pub to let the guys play with
them.

Enough advertising though, I'm not on commission honest and I'm fast
becoming a Maemo bore :)
