I can bring my CCNA kit. It has three switches and two routers I believe, including all the relevant cables (DTE/DCE etc). I've never actually used it, and I'm not at the stage in my CCNA where I have interacted with the iOS yet (I'm at Frame Relay). Let me know. I recently got 2 new Desktop PCs. Actually they were second hand (Mum's and Brothers), but they were new to me. My old one used DDR1 RAM (2 x 1 GB installed), as did my Mum's PC (4 x 512 MB). I got Mum's PC first and took out 2 x 512 MB and replaced them with my 2 x 1 GB. The 2 x 512 MB ended up in my old PC that is now in the kids' room. Then my brother gave me his PC. It's higher spec, but knackered. I managed to salvage the hd and the RAM, but that's about it. It came with 2 x 1GB DDR2 RAM. I can't use it. What I can use is another 2 x 1 GB DDR1. So here's where the trade comes in. Anyone out there who could use the RAM who happens to have a spare 2 x 1GB DDR1? Want to swap? Here's a pic. Please don't ask me any more about it other than what it says on the stick if you can't read it. The plates are attached front and back, so I can't really give any more info. http://i18.photobucket.com/albums/b119/heiowge/RAM.jpg Cheers Paul -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I recently passed my CCNA via Yale in Wrexham however IT was over two year period which cost me 350 pound per year. Bargin! However the trade off is a long time commitment but on the plus I didn't have to make any investment in equipment and then bundle it off on ebay afterwards. They also offered believe until recently the Cisco Wireless course too which was a doddle compare to the CCNA and only a year. The networkmanager 'M' that appears on the toolbar reports 'NetworkManager disabled', and I haven't been able to 'enable' it - and there's nothing intelligible on the web. Nothing on the web comes near to the simple way in which you did it, and I can only conclude one of the previous actions must have enabled it somehow. Been at it all day but it has me beaten.
