Hi all,

A quick reminder that the next BacHack will be this Thursday at Chester
Storage, just off Sealand Road (near Tesco / Aldi). As before, please bring
a chair with you!

I'm sure one of the topics will be continuing OO programming and our
project - Eventomato :-)

After a discussion at the last LUG, I thought another nice topic would be
getting back to basics and discussing the distros we use. So it would be
great if everyone could say a few words on what distro they use, why they
chose it and the desktop environment they use (screenshots welcome!).

The event will start at 7.30 and Steve would really appreciate it if people
can arrive as close to that as possible as he'd like to close up at 10.30.

Cold and hot drinks will be available for a small fee (which goes back into
the LUG funds).

See you on Thursday.

from 7.30. As before, if you're able to bring a chair of any sort that
would be great. Hot and cold drinks will be available with proceeds going
to the LUG fund!

A belated thanks to everyone who attended last week's technical meet up. It
was a good evening with several topics discussed, plus we installed Linux
on a new Chromebook to show just how easy it is!

There is a chance we'll be able to have a tech meet in August, but I'll let
you know where we'll be meeting nearer the time.
