If anyone has a topic they'd like to talk about please let us know. Tom has suggested I give a little demo of my new email server config I've recently put together, so I'm happy to do that. So we can test it locally in a sandbox and easily test changes? Right? RIGHT??! If anyone is interested you can sign up for free in the link below: Wuthering Bytes is almost upon us! http://wutheringbytes.com/ The week-long festival features a two-day open source hardware camp, a celebration of technology day, a look at Smart Cities and much, much more. On Monday, 28th September the Open Source Consortium is jointly hosting a conference with the BCS Open Source Specialist Group, called 'Open for Business'. The day is aimed at supporting anyone who is currently in or is looking to run an open source business. The agenda covers topics such as licensing, key issues for government digital services, using university R & D to develop FOSS, along with some real-life examples of open source businesses putting the theory into practice. Come along and support, network or find out more about how you can tap into industry resources for business growth. Free tickets are available here: http://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/open-for-business-tickets-18307788087 For further information please contact jeremy.bennett at opensourceconsortium.org -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... I just wanted to get feedback on something. The next meet is scheduled for the 29th, but OggCamp is happening on the 31st / 1st and I know quite a few members will be going. So I suggest that we replace the Thursday night meeting in exchange for a LUG trip up there. Most of us will probably be getting the train up, so we can organise to meet up at the station and head up together. If you particularly want the Thursday evening meet to happen please let us know.
