New poster here - will post separately about me - but I have a question... Can anyone recommend or suggest a local company who can provide Linux support services? We're working on a project for somebody but their IT company doesn't "do Linux" so we're looking for someone who could fill the gap. It's basic stuff: 2 on-premise Dell servers running CentOS 7 with a very basic LAMP stack. Support is needed because the servers provide a business critical role and while we have the expertise we don't have the capacity to provide 24/7/365 support. Welcome to the group. Your requirement doesn't seem to complex and I know there are one or two people in the group that could do the job quite easily. If you get really stuck I know some Linux peeps. Getting the Linux support should be fairly straight forward, however 24/7/365 capacity may be a bit harder. It would certainly push up the costs. What kind of response time are they after? Thinking about it; they only operate 9-5 Monday-Friday so they would only need response during office hours. Response time would need to be within hours - they can't afford to have the system down for more than 12 hours. I can cover most things but there is only me so if I'm away or unavailable we need to be able to call on someone and be confident that they know enough about the system to get it back up and running. Let me know if you have someone in mind or any suggestions. Best regards Chris On 14/04/2017 12:14, Les Pritchard wrote: > Hi Chris, > > Yes, welcome to the LUG!
