We want to set up a window machine inside virtual box, i.e. get everything nice and configured, then clone it. Is this possible and if so can we then purchase window licenses to activate each clone separately? We'd want about 4 clones. Thanks, Dave. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... The only thing that would change is the MAC and even then, it’s not a major thing! It sounds a bit odd. Care to elaborate? Then whenever you clone it and start the VM you can configure it with the new system name, license etc. On 9 January 2018 at 16:03, Stuart Burns via Chester < chester at mailman.lug.org.uk> wrote: > I’d think you’d be fine on that. Following some issues getting the room (and the life drawing class incident!) and some discussions with members to try a different evening, I have booked the upstairs room at the Old Custom House (Watergate Street) for next Tuesday 30th. We'll be meeting there from 7.30 and I'm sure we will have a lot to discuss after our break! I hope you can join us for this new night. See you next week. We had a power cut recently and despite having machines behind UPS/PDUs two didn't come backup - I some how thought UPS/PDU were there to prevent this type of thing. Cheers, Dave. -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... We will be in the private room upstairs. If you haven't been to the venue before, just ask staff to direct you as it's easy to miss the entrance. See you tomorrow. Message-ID: <023b01d39a25$38b77150$aa2653f0$@newlymintedmedia.com> Hi Everyone, As promised: quickbox.io - It is a simple couple of commands to add and it builds a torrenting host with every add in you could want and removes all the complexity of setting it all up, security, secure ftp, https etc. Also bandwidth graphs, plugins for plex, OpenVPN etc etc. It asks a couple of questions then installs itself. Took about 74 mins on my dual core atom. Also for the plugin to catch torrent files and magent links look for "Xirvik plugin". Although this is technically for Xirvik seed hosts, it works with them all. Works with my quickbox install no issues.
