We could. It's even less central than the Hythe meet though, but it's 
possible. They have bars and you can book rooms with projects and stuff 
for talks. They currently hold a quarterly IEE talk which is one thursday 
of each month as they have involvement in the Colchester Young Members 
Branch. That might be of interest to some people.

Depends what kind of thing people are looking for. There are younger 
members who we would want to involve as well (anyone know how many there 
are?). Suggestions on IRC earlier included:

  Drink beer at a pub in town (one that servers real ale!)
  Go back to the lord nelson (where we had the last meet)
  Get someone in to do a talk (or a volunteer from the group whose doing something interesting)
  Computer Fair
  Jump out of an airplane (several members are involved in skydiving)
  Visit a geeky place (such as Bletchley Park, Sanger Centre, Science Museum)
  Vertical windtunnel at Milton Keynes snowdome
  Put someone small in Garys car boot (he has a hairdressers car)
  Frisbee in the park & pints in the Castle
  Boating on the river at Dedham
  Sunday lunch in Wivenhoe on the waterfront
  General beer garden in Wivenhoe (Wiv run anyone? ;-)
