[Colchester] Location Location Location...

Hi All,

As you may have seen, I wish to try to make our LUG a little more
active, as such I appeal to you to have a think of a location to meet
up.

I know Colchester quite well, but have not lived here for a fair few
years, and as such I am a little out of date with nice friendly venues,
who would be open to us being geeky in a corner or private room.

I'd rather not use a community hall or any hired location as these could
be very boring, but vice-versa a pub might well exclude anyone under 18
from coming along, so can anyone on this list suggest a venue which
might suit us better?  main criteria are Free, Friendly and Social, and
it needs to be able to cope for anything from just a few to a fair few.

Also, any ideas of numbers of people on this list who would like to come
along to a meet, I'm thinking mid-week, early evening, something like
Tuesday at 7pm to 10pm, at the nice newly refurbed pub (subject to
approval) near the bottom of Hythe Hill, near the church.
