Hi Wayland,

I never heard of Hans Reiser so it going to be interesting learning
about him thanks to the power of the Internet.

Linux may not be main stream but the system is doing alright specially
in the states.  

At the moment there an estimated 29 million users worldwide if you look

I don't think I would be able to find the ratings for Apple
Computers.... 

What is your view on BSD?  It is rock solid but sadly lacks behind
Windows for a number of reason most are due to it being tided up in a
court case many years ago..
