That's my trouble :-(

I tend not to use packages. I always compile from source. That way I
know what's in the software. I can also customise to make a bit more
secure. One obvious one is to install to non default path. The amount
of logs I seen where attacks are made on Apache (and others), relying
on *know paths* to executables is unbelievable.
