And what do u know, it did start a flame :o)

Anyway, the way i see it is postgres has all the benefits and none of the 
drawbacks my mysql.  IMO it is easy to set up and runs fine, and has all 
those extra features (none of which i will ever use im sure :o)

Oh, another thing i really liked about mandrake 9.1 was movie playback, it 
worked superb with all my 'ahem' DivX's :o)  both avi and ogm type, using 
kaboodle/noatun or xine.
