All releases (at least up to 1.2.x) have been purely GTK, so will run
anywhere (even a Win32 port).

A nightschool I go to sports a "Wine Appreciation Course". One night at a
LUG we should have a "GNOME Appreciation Guide", where someone sits down
and, a few hours later when Nautilus has finally started, show us the
nifty features contained therein.
