I've been thinking about this one. A few points:

1. There's a vast amount of info available re Linux, much of this
on-line (or rather on-disc) with every Linux installation.

However, because of this,

2. Finding a starting point for the topic of immediate interest can be
difficult -- sometimes seemingly impossible.

3. There's a lot of fun to be had out of actually getting things to work.

Maybe the most productive form for on-line 'lectures' would make
extensive references to existing documents which we all have access to.
Some of these 'tectures' could be directed towards setting up software /
hardware solutions for demo at the Gleaston (or wherever) meets.

BTW. -- What should I look up to discover how to set up a PC / modem for
remote access? Yes! I know! That's dead simple for some. It's only easy
when you lnow how. No flames please.
