[cumbria_lug] HP to offer Linux on desktop PC's

With the launch [1] of HP's new business desktops, they are including the
option to have MS Windows XP or Mandrake 9.1 pre-installed. As well as
being good news for Linux, the other good point is that you don't appear
to be paying the  'Microsoft Tax' on the non-MS option.

Interesting choice of distribution, especially with Mandrake just
returning from the brink of bankruptcy. Seems they have a brighter future
than many may have thought...

It would be nice to see them offer a choice of distro's, but something is
better than nothing. At least you know the hardware will be Linux
compatible.
