Yeah, it's a fine idea, especially considering the vastness of our
county and difficulties in getting everyone together. If we could work
out some bona-fide reasons to do IRC -- ie tutorials, presentations,
Q&A sessions etc. -- then it could really work.

What kinda stuff would we want to do on IRC?
