We started off with Accenture and CGE&Y in the running. Accenture gave up fairly quickly and it became a two horse race and was looking like a photo finish, untill CGE&Y stumbled at the last hurdel (We think they let a work-experiance guy finish the 'final offer' paperwork)

I should be so lucky, IBM inhert 300 staff to cover the contract, significant numbers have 'transfered' to 'ICF' (Intelligent Customer Function) roles taking huge amounts of business-knowlege with them (and grabbing a promotion or two) so initially we will be understaffed.   This year DEFRA have not recruited to vacant posts so 'vacant' posts are also transfering
