[cumbria_lug] Mailing list usage...

Hull LUG have created a system where mailing lists are converted into
bulletin board posts. They have subscribed this system to all UK LUG
mailing lists (including ours), and are archiving all posts at:

~  http://www.thisishull.net/forumdisplay.php?f=35

This resource is now members-only after complaints from other LUGs.
Several LUGs have unsubscribed the 'bot' as well.

Their reasons for doing this are:

| Our members thought it would make a good resource to archive a knowledge
| database that may help members solve problems and interact with other
lugs.

How do you feel about this? Are we happy to let them archive our list
elsewhere? Please bear in mind that our archives are public anyway - you
can find them at:

~  http://mailman.lug.org.uk/pipermail/cumbria/

For the time being I have suspended their subscription to our list.
