Not wanting to sound like a mandrake kde lover, but you could always give it a
try.
want the latest nvidia driver?
http://www.nvidia.com/content/drivers/drivers.asp
the latest acrobat reader?
you dont need it, as kde has the very good kpdf build in (ver 3.4), but if you
insist on using the ugly linux version:
http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html
by the way, both the above links are IDENTICAL to the ones you posted, and
both contain both windows/linux versions, so how is it hader to locate the
linux version?
Now then, quick time is a litttle trickier, but like most mandrake users, i
have the PLF repository enabled (easyurpmi.zarb.org/) (which includes all the
things mandrake would like to include but are too scared to incase of getting
sued, including mono) so i can install all the codecs i want without even
having to look on the internet. Infact, you must agree it is easier to match
video on linux than windows, i have NEVER had to go searching for a codec,
ever, theyre all just installed for me.
Finally, everyone should read tux magazine, get a free subscription and
download issue 1, it has an indepth article on :
Syncing a Palm to Korganizer with KPilot by Jenn Vesperman
if you want, e-mail, calendar and to-do lists, all in one place, there isnt
much better than kontact. http://kontact.kde.org/
