I have managed to get my dvd drive to boot by putting it on 
master and the cdrw on cable select. thanks for all the help
however now i have another problem - a windows one. i know 
your probaly sick and tiered of my windows problems but
please help me out;  I have some(what windows installer thinks are)
bad clusters on one of my partitions. this means windows will not 
load fully and i cant reinstall because i cant format the
partition.

help please
