Just to make sure everyone is up to date, the meeting tonight is
cancelled because we can't get the room. I'll put up a notice in the
computing dept just in case we get any strays who've not seen the
relevant e-mails.
I'm not sure about the suggestion that Simon made about moving the
meeting to next Monday, Bob isn't available to contribute his talk but
if anyone else has any ideas they're more than welcome use the meeting
for those. If there's nothing by Friday I think we should probably
give up on the meeting for this month... That would leave us without a
meeting for a while as the dept will be shut at the start of
January.
If anyone has any views on what they'd like to happen reply to this
and we'll see if we can come up with something sensible.
Mark
PS For future note I won't be coming to a meeting next week because
I'll be in the thick of exams and I won't be around at the start of
January either because of rather a lot of project work.

Debugging is twice as hard as writing the code in the first place.
Therefore, if you write the code as cleverly as possible, you are,
by definition, not smart enough to debug it. -- Brian W. Kernighan
