It can play encrypted DVD's however it isn't integrated for legal
reasons, they feel there's no point taking out the whole project if
legal action is taken against them.

download and install this:
http://cambuca.ldhs.cetuc.puc-rio.br/xine/libdvdcss-1.2.6-2.network.i386.rpm

You should be able to play all dvd's without any problems now.
