hey mark,
i don't know if you're interested, but if you want i have iso's of : =
1 Red Hat 8
2 Debby 3.0r1
3 gen too
4 yoper
5 lycoris
6 xandros
7 suse 8.1
8 mandrake 9.0
9 yellowdog
just some i have kicking about after "experimenting with diff distros",
anyways chief i don't know which you where thinking of showing but just
yell if you want any of the above and it'll save you downloading and
burning.
I personally think for newbie (i.e. ME) i'd use xandros - its usable
straight away, based on debby so apt-get can played with etc,etc. cos at
the end of the day if *nix is to become popular enough to be on more
peoples desktops, then people need an OS they can use first and then
play and tinker with second.
anyways just the thoughts of a hungover newbie
