Content wise I had hoped something would have happened with the volunteering thing
we did a while ago. It sparked some good discussion, and the area is broad enough
for many of us to contribute. It seems difficult to find topics that appeal to most
of us.

I have a laptop with jack, rosegarden, timidity and ardour on it. Maybe you can use that?
I'm still learning how to use it all to produce actual records, as I don't have an audio
background. For the midi connection I have an M-Audio midisport 2x2 connected to the
keyboard (a big sob to "lug" around :). For audio I just use the line-in hooked up to a
realy crummy amp at the moment: waiting for firwire to get supported.
