[dundee] Perth Newbie

Hello all. Just introducing myself. I'm James. I've lived in Perth for
a year and a half since graduating from Durham Uni. To be honest, I'm
not sure why it's taken me this long to check out this LUG since I
occasionally met up with NELUG when I lived in Durham. Anyway, I'm a
long-time Gentoo user and a self-employed web monkey and server lackey
by trade. I've nearly finished building the next big rival to MySpace
(you wouldn't believe what goes on in some one-bedroom flats) and in my
spare time, girlfriend permitting, I do silly things like trying to
install Gentoo Linux on a PlayStation 2 or Amiga 1200. I have actually
succeeded on both accounts to some extent. Consequently I have started
the Gentoo PS2 project. Progress is slow because I'm trying to hack
away at GCC and I don't really know what I'm doing. But that's half the
fun. (-;

Please tell me that Sun server from two months back has been sold. I
must not be tempted. The last thing I need is another random machine to
install Gentoo on!
