Hi Jacek,

Two questions really, when you said that you upgraded what command did
you use?  Did you do a fresh install or did you a dist-upgrade?

If your system is not mounting then i also need to ask you at what point
your using gedit.  Not sure if you know or not, and i'm not meaning to
teach you to suck egg's, but if your not in a graphic environment gedit
won't work.  If not you can use something like Vim (and you should find
your way through it with you cheat sheet, thanks to Mr Hughes talk) or
nano.
