  Ok. I will try all that.
  To clarify things :
  I had my ubuntu installed on Vaio.Than I have reinstalled
  Windows( lost GRUB by the way and had to remedy that).
  After reinstallation display was smaller both in WIN XP pro
  and Ubuntu. I have instlled new driver from intel www and that sorted windows. Ubuntu still too small.
