Lol, that's what everyone so far has said "it should just work"
unfortunately, as with almost everything I do, it doesn't, and needs
persuasion to get it to function. I did try different versions of the
firmware... kinda. The install/setup guide says to upload mgmt.o to it,
I thought I'd find that when I get there, but when I installed it, and
it asked for the firmware, it asked for ZZZL_3.012. I googled this and
found that it was the firmware package for the speedtouch and contained
the two parts I would need, oh and here it is kinda thing. I thought
"great, saves me installing on a virtual box and trying to find it
there" uploaded that, says firmware was recognized and was happy, just
wouldn't connect. I then found what I was told was the same thing on my
virtual box after installing and tried that. Then finally I looked up
mgmt.o and found it was a different file renamed, so I tried that. All
gave more or less the same result. It's possible they are all the same
version, however the ZZL_3.012 that I downloaded had nothing to do with
my system and therefore could have been any version, and as it came from
a linux site, I would assume that it, if any, should be working firmware.
Thanks
