so you get your 50 quid access point, it has full source code with it, you start to
add radius authentication , 802.1x, extra management functionality, VPN server etc etc,

so you turn a 50quid piece of hardware in to the same as what cisco sell for £2000 ?

so, do you see where the problems lies, you pay for features, with open source
you could just add em yourself. 

Cisco should really get this cleared up quickly, so they can concentrate on plugging
the overflow holes they have with their closed source ios 'operating system'.

much better than suing them, make them host linux iso's and repositories for life!

I think they may have some bandwidth to spare?

I was certainly impressed when my linksys arrived with a printed copy
of the GPL inside. It was the first time I'd ever seen it like that,
and I really started to think 'wow!'

I hope this goes 'well', whatever that means.
