Hi All,
I bet you are all wondering what the acronym SOLAR stands for. Well I
made it up, I should have held a competition to see if anyone could
guess it with the 1st prize – A weekend with an OLPC. 2nd prize – An
Abertay Society Linux t-shirt. 3rd prize – A collection of Linux live
cd's. booby prize – A free copy of Vista.
S – Security.

Talking about Ubuntu Ubertroopers during the week, the Army's new
system FCS (Future Combat Systems) will use Linux as its operating
system namely Red Hat & Wind River Systems (real-time embedded Linux).
