[dundee] Java Benchmarks

Wow, welcome to java world.

I've seen some interesting benchmarks from the new java.... shall
we convert the world to java... ?? I think we should...

Java still has the perception of being slow. Although I'm not a lava
developer this has not been my 
experience when I've used apps that run on the JVM (netbeans and eclipse,
mainly). These bench mark 
I've found show that it some operations a few of the Java runtime
environments can out perform code 
generated by GCC. However, overall GCC is still the winner.
