Hi All,
The theme of this week is VOCALS, for starters TayLUG has been
particularly vocal (in a literary way) as the record has been broken
again with 575 posts for February. I blame this on the mild February
weather where people think it is Spring and are leaping about. This
week at the Abertay Linux Society we had flash talks with 3 speakers
on varied subjects: Linux From Scratch; Jabber/XMPP; Git. I like these
flash talks as they have a great variation on subjects that can be
called sweeteners, an entree to topics that people can then find out
more about. Okay we have done the starters, entree and desserts what
about the main course? Everyone loves music so I have articles about
audio in Linux that people might find interesting, so onward with the
literal vocals for the virtual locals (yes, my wit is getting worse!).
