There is actually some good stuff there if you hunt around.
Way back when, their was a great site called WebJay. It let you
aggregate links to music into playlists that could be shared (tracks
cut and pasted), commented on (very simple 'add a comment') and
browsed (each track knew which playlists it was in and playlists were
grouped by user).
This simple idea spawned a really great community, through which I
made loads of friends and found loads of great music.
Then it was bought up by Yahoo and closed down.
I'm lamenting 'the good old days' of the internet... I must be getting old.
Anyone know any good sites with similar functionality?
