Subject: [dundee] Laptop without the obvious TAX
Hello All
I'm pulling my hair out at the minute looking for a new laptop, so far I've found Linux Emporium, Novatech and PCSpecialist who all supply with Linux or without an OS.
Trouble is from reading reviews the custom build machines get mixed / horrible reviews and the Linux Emp. doesn't have as good spec hardware wise as similar priced windows machines.
Does anyone know of a decent laptop supplier that supplies without the Redmond TAX? or am I destined to pay it...
Please help before I move over to the Dark Side
So far PC in favour is this one;

And an alternative is the Medion in Aldi.
Thanks in advance
Mark
PS budget ~ £500, HDMI and webcam a bonus
